Hi, I'm Kate, mum of three curious, semi-feral, nature-loving kids and founder of The Little Bush Baby Company, South Africa’s family safari specialists. We live tucked between the bush and the beach in the magical town of St Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal - where hippos wander the streets, monkeys swing through the trees, and no two days are ever the same!

Through this blog, I’ll be sharing what it’s really like to raise children on the edge of a World Heritage Site, where game drives replace school runs and weekend walks often include warthogs, whales or weaver birds.
